Civitella Alfedena is an Italian village of 316 inhabitants of the province of Aquila in Abruzzo, it is part of the Orange Flag villages of Italy. It belongs to the Mountain Community High Plateau of the Sangro and Five Mile Plane.

 

Medieval village immersed in the heart of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, is an active tourist centre only 6 miles far from the ski slopes of Passo Godi, 9 miles far from the ski slopes of Pescasseroli and 25 miles far from Roccaraso's ski area.

 

Civitella Alfedena host a beautiful Museum of the Apennine Wolf, dedicated to ethology, history, biology, culture and legends referred to this animal and to his relation with man- besides faunal area of the lynx.
